What's Next?
Like so many of the decisions you will be making for your wedding. flowers are an expression of who you are. Getting the right flowers that capture your style and personality as a couple can require some serious consideration. To help you with these decisions, and be able to provide an accurate estimate for your wedding flowers, we will want to schedule a floral consultation.
This process usually takes about 30 min to an hour, depending on how much legwork you've done beforehand.
We will send you some forms to help you gather some information ahead of time.
How to prepare for your wedding consultation
-
Inspiration Photos Do's and Dont's
-
Even as are very custom wedding florists, we find that having some inspiration photos of bouquets and other wedding florals that speak to your style and vision will help us create peices that will be uniquely yours.
-
Colors: Be careful of the Pinterest trap. Pinterest is a great tool to help you get inspired for your wedding, however, some of the photos are deceiving as the stylists use real-touch silk blooms which can give unrealistic color expectations.
-
Seasons determine not just what kind of flowers are availbable for your event, but also the size and color of your flower choices can differ from season to season. We can help guide you through those choices
-
Copycat: at the end of the day, we are artists and we paint with flowers and foliage, so although we can use your inspirational photos to achieve a certain "look" or color palatte, we do not "copy" another floral artist work.
-
Budget: flowers can get very expensive, having a realistic budget for the desired blooms you love. The flower choices, scale of the pieces, and at times colors, will be factors in the pricing; we can help you decide what is most important to you to fit within a reasonable budget

Approximate guest count
-
Start with the maximum guest count you would have if everyone you invite is able to attend. This number will help us create a more accurate estimate when building your proposal.
-
We calculate the number of centerpieces/tablecloths, etc. based on eight guests per table. Most event tables do not seat more than eight comfortably, so please consider this in your seating chart planning.
-
Are you permitting children, the amount of young guests may dictate a few things at your reception.
